It will say something along the lines of OS way press X and something will be installed quickly and some instructions will come up. (Settings>System Settings>Install Other OS) Insert the YDL6.2 disc that you just made into the ps3 and goto: So now that you have your saves and memory cards back its time to install YDL 6.2 (Settings >System Settings>Backup Utility>Restore) STEP 4 (If you followed step 2.if not proceed to step 5) Now the formatting will start.you may want to do this when you leave for the day or goto bed because this takes a couple of hours (3-6hrs depending on your HDD size).Īfter the format is complete press X to restart the system.
